Entertaining friends and family brings great joy to my life. I grew up in Los Angeles where my parents regularly hosted a wide circle of friends, and I inherited their passion for parties. Entertaining is my form of creativity. Every detail reflects my personal style and I love the process; from the second an event is on the calendar, to the moment the last guest walks out the door. I adore creating exquisite memories for my family and friends to share, so however exhausted I may find myself by the end of the evening, I am still smiling, knowing I’ve given all a night to remember.

Over the years, I’ve learned that parties aren’t about perfection. I’ve made my share of mistakes but the more I entertained, the more I gained confidence and learned that snafus are what bring humor and authenticity to the moment. Events are a gift—both from your guests, who take the time show up for you, and for them, in the form of a special experience. The magic sparks in settings where beauty can unfold. I’m not just referring to décor and photogenic hors d’oeuvres, but the laughter and friendship shared.

My husband, Steve, and I share seven children and spend our time between Los Angeles, New York, and Sun Valley. Our blended family has brought me a life bigger than I ever could have imagined and so many occasions to celebrate. The joy I find entertaining for my friends & family inspired my first book, You’re Invited: Classic, Elegant Entertaining, which was published in Spring 2020 by Rizzoli Publications.
